Optiboard - the kitchen board for professionals
If you always use and care for the cutting board in the right way, it will serve you for many years.
- Before use, please carefully remove the transport packaging and dispose it by sending it for recycling.
- Remove the protective film from the cutting surface
- When transporting the cutting board, ensure that it is held securely and do not drop it on the floor. The cutting board could be damaged and you could injure yourself.
- Place the cutting board on a table or worktop and screw in the adjustable feet on all 4 sides to the desired height and inclination.
- After use, please clean the cutting board with cleaning agents that are approved and recommended by the (BGN) Berufsgenossenschaft Nahrungsmittel und Gaststätten in the field of food preparation. Cleaning with water is usually sufficient. If the size is enough, the cutting board can also be washed in large dishwashers. The temperature should be 75° C to achieve absolute hygiene.
Discolourations, e.g. caused by cutting beetroot, can be soaked in cooking oil, salad oil or olive oil for a few minutes. Then rinse the board with suitable washing-up liquid and warm water.
Clean the chopping board thoroughly if different foods such as meat, fish or e.g. vegetables are prepared alternately. - Follow the instructions of the German Social Accident Insurance, Employer's Liability Insurance Association and Occupational Safety:
GUV-R 111 / Rule - Work in kitchen establishments.
BGR 111 "Working in kitchens"
ASI 8.20/04 "Hygiene in Kitchens"
Guideline for Good Hygiene Practice in the Catering Industry (DEHOGA)
A HACCP concept or certification is recommended for food processing. - Store the cutting board in dry rooms if possible, do not expose the cutting board permanently to sub-zero temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Experience has shown that the cutting board has a long service life. If, contrary to expectations, the surface should become damaged due to continuous use, minor damage can be corrected with a sanding sponge, or more serious damage (deep indentations) can be corrected by having the surface planed by a carpenter or joiner, or by milling over the surface.
- The adjustable feet can be unscrewed. Please note that the thread is left-handed.
- Rubber rings are embedded in the lower part of the adjustable foot to prevent slipping.
These explanations do not claim to be complete.
WE WISH YOU MUCH PLEASURE AND GOOD SUCCESS WITH THE OPTIBOARD CUTTING BOARD.
